Saber.tech respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Notice will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our corporate website (regardless of where you visit it from) or when we contact you and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
This Privacy Notice aims to give you information on how Saber.tech collects and processes your personal data, along with details of your rights as a data subject. It is important that you read this Privacy Notice alongside our Cookies Notice and any other privacy or fair processing notice we may provide on specific occasions when we are collecting or processing personal data so that you are fully aware of how and why we are using your data.
References to “Saber.tech”, “us”, “we” in this Notice means Saber Tech Systems S.L, a private company incorporated and registered in Spain with its registered office address at c/ Hoyo de Esparteros 3 (Edif. La Mundial) 29005 Malaga, Spain.
CONTROLLER
Saber.tech is the “data controller” of the personal data that is collected, used, processed and stored when you make use of our corporate website. Personal data means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified.
THE DATA WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU:
We may collect, process, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together into “categories” of Personal Data as follows:
- Identity Data: first name, last name, username or similar identifier, title, and gender.
- Contact Data: address, email address and telephone number.
- Technical Data: internet protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions and other technology on the devices you use to access our website.
HOW IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED?
Most of the information we collect is obtained from you.
You provide us with personal information when you:
- Contact us on any telephone numbers or email addresses available on our website
- Like, post, apply for a job or otherwise interact with our social media pages such as LinkedIn, and Glassdoor.
- Register and apply for vacancies on the career section of our website. Information including your full name, username, contact details, current and preferred salary, correspondence preferences, resume, place of residence, eligibility to work, cover letter, references, transcripts and other academic related information.
We may also collect information about you from our other associated companies for internal reasons, primarily for business and operational purposes, which we will use in line with the privacy notice of the relevant group company we have collected your information from.
HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:
- Where we need to perform services under the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you;To enable us to interact with you via email, telephone.
- To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts we enter into with you.
- To provide you with the information, products and services that you request from us.
- To provide you with recruitment and career services, where you register and make applications for a job on our career page. This includes matching your skills, experience and education with the roles we have on offer and communicating to you the progress on your applications.
- To provide you with service messages, including messages requesting your feedback on our services and notifying you about changes to our website, services or changes to our terms, conditions and policies. - Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests;
- To provide you with information about our products or services we feel may be of interest to you. We will only contact you by e-mail or SMS and you are always able to object to receiving such communications from us at any time.
- To provide support services to you.
- To investigate and address enquiries, questions and complaints and respond to any feedback.
- To develop and improve our website to enhance your experience.
- To improve the quality of the services we provide.
- To ensure effective operational management and internal administration of our business, document retention, compliance with regulatory guidance and exercise or defence of legal claims.
- To have our product services team contact you were you have indicated an interest in our products.
- To monitor, record, store and use any telephone, email or other communication with you in order to check any instructions given to us, for training purposes, for crime prevention and to improve the quality of our customer service. We will clearly notify you prior to any such recording. - Where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation;

- Generally, we do not rely on consent as a legal basis for processing your personal data other than in relation to sending direct marketing communications to you via email, SMS, telephone call or post. You have the right to withdraw consent to marketing at any time by contacting us or clicking on the “unsubscribe” or “opt-out” option within the marketing concerned.
DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We may have to share your personal data with the following recipients or categories of recipients set out below:
- Associated Saber.tech companies acting as joint controllers or processors and who provide customer services, IT and system administration services, recruitment services and undertake leadership reporting.
- External third parties to provide marketing and promotional services on our behalf with your consent.
- Third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer, or merge parts of our business or our assets. Alternatively, we may seek to acquire other businesses or merge with them. If a change happens to our business, then the new owners may use your personal data in the same way as set out in this Privacy Notice.
- Service providers who provide IT and system administration services.
- Professional advisers, including lawyers, bankers, auditors and insurers who provide consultancy, banking, legal, insurance and accounting services to Saber.tech.
- Regulators and other authorities who require reporting of processing activities in certain circumstances.
We require all third parties to respect the security of your Personal Data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your Personal Data for their own purposes and only permit them to process your Personal Data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.
HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including:
- maintaining business records for the purposes of satisfying any regulatory, legal, accounting, or reporting requirements;
- complying with record retention requirements under relevant laws
- exercising, establishing or defending legal claims; or
- dealing with complaints and / or disputes
INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
- We may share your personal data with our associated companies and third-party service providers. This may involve transferring your data outside of the EEA which is known as a third country transfer or a “restricted transfer”. For the purposes of EU GDPR, a “third country” means a country or territory outside the EEA. (Following Brexit, the UK and Gibraltar are considered thrid countries for EU GDPR purposes).
- We will only share your Personal Data with third parties or international organisations outside of the EEA, United Kingdom or Gibraltar where we have a legal basis for doing so, such as to provide you with our services or because we ourselves use service providers (processors) outside of the EEA, United Kingdom or Gibraltar to operate our business.
- Whenever we transfer your personal data out of the EEA to a third country or international organisation, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring use of approved standard contractual clauses, inter-group data transfer agreements, or use of third party’s Processor Binding Corporate Rules.

NO SERVICES TO CHILDREN
Protecting children’s privacy is important to us. For that reason, we do not collect or maintain information on our website from those we actually know are under the age of 18 (notwithstanding any legal definition of “child” or “children” or other legislation setting a lower age for a person to be considered a child). No part of our website is targeted to attract anyone under 18. We request that all visitors to our website who are under 18 not disclose or provide any personal data.
